Legal Education and Litigation Consulting in North America for Individuals and Corporations – With Legal Counsel OR Self-Represented Litigants

FAQ

What is the Litigation Navigation Course?

The Litigation Navigation Course is a comprehensive, self-paced program designed to demystify the legal process and empower individuals to actively participate in their own legal matters—whether they are representing themselves, working with a lawyer under a limited-scope arrangement, or simply seeking to better understand their case. The course delivers a necessary life skill – Navigating Legal Problems. Developed from over a decade of research and hundreds of real case experiences, the course offers a clear, step-by-step curriculum that simplifies complex legal procedures. It equips students with the knowledge, strategy, and mindset needed to make informed decisions, communicate effectively with counsel, and avoid costly legal mistakes. Students can expect significant savings on legal fees and confidence representing themselves in court.

Where is this course applicable?

The Litigation Navigation Course is applicable in the United States and Canada. Over 80% of the real cases studied are based in the United States. The concepts discussed are applicable to legal matters in both Canada and the United States. The course is multi jurisdictional due to the nature of the teachings. Concepts such as strategy, understanding, certain processes, how to compile information and where to find information are common among jurisdictions. This is not a course on how to practice law. It’s a course on how to navigate the legal process and increase your chances of the result you want.

Is the course applicable to my case?

The course is applicable to family law and civil matters above the small claims threshold.

Is this course only for people without lawyers, Can I still benefit if I already have a lawyer?

People without lawyers typically receive the biggest benefit from the course. They save significant money on legal fees and regain control of their fees, avoiding the sale of personal assets such as their family home to fund out of control legal bills. People with attorneys achieve a much better outcome in their case because their involvement often leads to wins that would have otherwise not been possible without their participation and knowledge of their case / history. The earlier in a case the course is completed, the greater the benefit.

How does this course help me save money on legal fees?
  1. By teaching you how to work on your case (such as writing your own affidavit, researching case law, compiling evidence etc.) you will be able to save on legal fees.
  2. You will learn how to get your attorney to commit to a monthly predictable budget, this will eliminate the need to sell major assets to fund your case.
  3. By learning how to conduct “Knowledge Based Research” – you will learn how you can use your personal knowledge of the events and the other party to end or win your case.
How long will the course take me to complete?

The course is 14.5 hours of video, plus reference materials. We recommend doing the course in one hour or 90 minute chunks with no more than 3 or 4 days between sessions. Some students can do much more in a shorter period of time, we recommend taking breaks when the material is no longer sinking in. The 60 days of course access reflects the best timeline to absorb the course. The modules build on one another and long gaps between sessions will decrease the benefit and understanding of the course.

Is there support for the course if I’m having trouble?

Yes! If you have repeated modules or material and are stuck on a concept, we recommend reaching out to us at support@legallabyrinth.com. Your legal journey is important to us and we want you to feel supported.
